Cute Clawz x VALORANT Champions 2024

I’m thrilled to share a recent project that’s especially close to my heart. This year, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Riot Games to create a custom set of press-on nails for Madge, the artist behind ''2WORLDS'', at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 opening ceremony.

This set was designed specifically for Madge’s on-stage performance, reflecting the bold, character-driven aesthetic that Valorant fans know so well.

Designing for Performance and Presence

Madge’s outfit, designed by the brilliant Athena Lawton, featured rich textures, striking silhouettes, and subtle nods to Clove’s character design. It was the kind of look that tells a story before anyone even steps on stage, and it gave me the perfect visual to build from.

The nails brought a graphic accent to the look, with standout 3D butterflies adding dimension. The portrait and colour palette carefully reference Clove’s visual identity, tying the set together. Every detail was hand-painted and hand-sculpted with care and precision. The goal was to complement the overall styling while making sure the nails held their own on camera.

A Unique Collaboration with Riot Games

Collaborating with Riot on this set felt like such a natural fit. Cute Clawz has always been about visual storytelling, turning nail art into something personal and expressive. It was thrilling to adapt my narrative driven designs to Valorant’s bold aesthetic, working alongside great creatives in fashion, music, and gaming.

Seeing the final performance, with Madge bringing both the song and the look to life, was a proud moment, and a reminder of what’s possible when art, identity, and performance come together.

Small Details, Big Impact

This project reminded me why I love what I do, tiny canvases, big impact. Whether it’s a global stage or a quiet moment of self-expression, nails have a way of saying something without shouting. It’s the little details that tell the story. If you’re dreaming up something that needs that extra touch of wearable art, I’d love to hear about it.
